Biography:
In May of 1968 a
Stanford University student moonlighting
as a topless dancer ran for student body
president, and won the primary election,
using as a campaign poster a photo of
herself standing nude on the tomb of
Mr. and Mrs. Stanford. Featured in Playboy,
September 1968, reprinted in The Youth
Culture, 1971.
Now married to composer John Mitchell,
she manages his career and website, and
does free-lance graphic design.
Trained in languages and music, she
speaks English, French, Spanish,
German, Italian
and Japanese, and has recorded several
of Mitchell's songs in Spanish, among
them La United Fruit Co., a setting
of the poem by Pablo Neruda, and
Muerte,
poem by Federico Garcia Lorca.
